Ready to spice up the game? Here’s some advanced variations once you’ve gotten the hang of the rules.

Reinforcements

At the end of a round, players take the bottom card from their discards and add it back to their reserves.

Long/Short Games

Change the length of a game by dealing more or less cards. The game can be played with an entire deck.

Large Armies

Make the battle bigger by increasing the maximum size of your army! Or play without a limit at all–just make sure you have a big enough table.

Draft Pick Mode

Normally at the start of the game you randomly deal out the cards to all the players. In Draft Pick Mode, players get to choose their fighters.

At the start of the game, place all the cards face up in a grid. Players take turns choosing cards to add them to their deck. Once all the cards have been chosen, the game begins.
